Accommodation

Accommodation for Learning English in Scotland

All the schools and colleges featured on this site will be able to help arrange accommodation for you.  Here are a few of the most popular options:

Homestay
Homestay offers you a friendly Scottish welcome, giving you the opportunity to stay with local hosts, in their own homes, usually either in your own room or sharing with another student.

Breakfast & evening meals may be included, or you may prefer self-catering. Homestay allows you to practise your English outside the classroom, and you can learn more about the Scottish and UK ways of life.

Residential
Here you’ll stay in halls of residence or student houses or flats, where you will probably have your own room, but will share a kitchen and bathroom with other students. It’s a safe, secure option, often on campus in the case of colleges, and is a great way to get to know people.

Hotels, Hostels and Apartments
Alternatively, you can stay in a wide range of other rented accommodation from student hostels to hotels and serviced apartments – it’s your choice, depending on your budget.

Contact your chosen school or college, and they will be able to help you and recommend somewhere nearby.
